architectural surveys

Having many years’ experience in working with various architectural practices, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail, combined with our draftsmanship which is sympathetic to the task. Many surveys lack a feel for architecture. Our drawings aim to capture the architectural detail of buildings by representing the various elements in a readable form.

If your building requires alterations, extension, refurbishment or make over it is imperative to start with an accurate & easy to understand set of drawings. With this essential part done, the design process can then easily proceed.

We cover a wide range of building types, ranging from the simplest bungalow to old stone barns for conversion, to intricate historic detail within listed buildings. With our recorded information from site we then produce accurate, scaled drawings which include visible structure, materials & finishes, services, etc, to any level of detail required.

topographic / site surveys

Using a total station we provide fully levelled surveys including neighbouring building heights and locations, services, trees and any significant features. Our CAD drawings are produced in Vectorworks and can be exported for use in Autocad and most digital formats.

architectural design

We also offer architectural design services for conversions, extensions, refurbishment, encompassing initial feasibility studies, development of a scheme, preparation of drawings and submissions to the Local Authority for Planning Permission and Building Regulations. We have interest in and experience of up to date construction methods and strategies that will improve your building's energy efficiency as well as being sympathetic to the context.
